We are seeking energetic candidates to provide daily support, structure, guidance, and skills training in all areas of daily living. We are currently recruiting for coverage of all shifts with occasional overnight as needed and weekends. Top candidates will possess a mature disposition, sense of confidence, emotional stability; have excellent communication skills, knowledge of human behavior and development. You will need to be able to function independently with good judgment and serve as a helpful team member. Experience in mental health and psychology-major individuals preferred.

Yellowbrick, a national referral resource as an intensive outpatient and residential psychiatric treatment center for emerging adults, is searching for an Addiction Counselor (CADC) with strong interpersonal, communication and administrative skills. Compassionate interest in others, creative problem-solving, attention to detail and spirited collaborative teamwork are essential. Yellowbrick’s treatment model combines psychoanalytic, neurobiological, and life-competence approaches supporting a 12-Step sober community of peer support and accountability. Provides counseling and support services for individuals with substance use and other compulsive behavior disorders Conduct individual and group counseling including Rewards Alternative Pathways IOP Support and explore various forms of 12-Step engagement Responsible for an assigned caseload and the associated documentation, including relapse prevention and discharge plans; monitors progress and participant’s response to treatment. A member of the Assessment team completing substance use and comprehensive history assessments. Adheres to professional standards of ethics. Participates in daily Clinical Conference Performs other duties as assigned by supervising staff psychiatrist and Medical Director
Qualifications: Knowledge of ASAM and DSM-V. Must have the clinical skills necessary to identify and assess psychiatric problems related to or caused by substance use or dependence. Must have good oral and written communication skills. Basic knowledge of computer and Microsoft applications.
Education and Experience Requirements: CADC License required. Masters in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred.
